    Believe In Me, my second release of 2026, began taking shape last August when Czech developer František Valenta (CPZXIII) reached out to use several of my tracks in an upcoming Gran Turismo 4 mod.

    The mod, titled Turismo Tunes, called for a kind of signature track, something that captured a ’90s atmospheric drum & bass vibe. I put together several ideas for František to choose from, and the one he selected eventually became Believe In Me (Turismo Tune), though it required some reworking along the way.

    The original version had a more laid-back atmosphere, which I felt it didn’t quite have the energy needed for a racing game. I reshaped the arrangement to build more momentum, while also emphasizing sections that could function well as loops. This would allow the track to naturally build intensity as the game progresses. The end result balances the softer atmospheric elements with more energy, making it work both in the mod and as a standalone track.

    With Turismo Tunes planned for Spring 2026, Believe In Me acts as both a preview of the project and a continuation of the more atmospheric direction I’ve been exploring this year.
