If you're here, chances are you're a producer with plenty of ideas. You know what you want them to sound like, but finishing them has been a struggle. Now you're looking for the right support to get them over the finish line. That's EXACTLY what these sessions are built for.
They're tailored to a very specific kind of producer. You should already have experience producing and be comfortable in your DAW. If that's you, you're in the right place.
Once you're signed up, we'll work on your existing tracks, refine your sound, improve your arrangement skills and get you to a finished track in four one-hour sessions over the course of one month.
This isn't a course or subscription model, and it isn't the right fit for everyone. But for the price of a fancy plugin you'll never use, you'll finish a track and come out knowing how to do it again, consistently.
The Four Sessions
1: Getting Started
We talk. I listen to where you're at, what you've been working on and what's been getting in the way. You leave with one assignment: pull together at least 5 projects, unfinished or close to done. Just ones that have real potential.
2: Picking Your Track
We go through those tracks together, pick the strongest one and decide where it needs to go. You take it away and work. The goal is arrangement… get it as close to done as you can before we meet again.
3: Doing the Work
We review what you've built. Fix what needs fixing, tighten what needs tightening. By the end of this session the track should be done structurally. Your assignment is to make any final adjustments so it's ready to mix.
4: Releasing It
We mix it. Walk through the process together and get it to a place you're happy with. You leave with a finished, mixed and mastered track and a clear sense of how to do it again.
Who this is for
You're technically capable. You know your DAW, you understand the process, you've made tracks you're proud of… you just can't seem to get them over the line. Or you finish them but they sit there because you don't know what to do next. That's exactly where I can help. This isn't for producers just starting out. If you're still getting the basics down, keep at it. These sessions will be here when you're ready.
What this isn't
This isn't a course. There's no secret formula, no magic plugin, no step-by-step process that works the same for everyone. It's an experienced producer working directly with you to help you get out of your own way and finish music. That only works if you show up ready to do the same.
What happens to the track
That's up to you. Release it yourself, submit it to labels… or if you want, we can talk about releasing it through Latent : Forms. Either way, it goes out. That's the whole point.
What happens after
The month ends but the work doesn't. Once you've been through the sessions, you'll continue to be a part of the Latent : Forms family. You keep access to our private community and we keep building on what you started… alongside other producers who've been through the same process. Releasing the track isn't the end… it's where the next one starts.
Why I do this
I spent 25 years not finishing music. Thousands of projects sitting on a hard drive, most of them never heard by anyone. I know exactly what it feels like to love making music and still find every reason not to finish it. I also know what it feels like on the other side… and I'd rather help you get there without waiting as long as I did.
