Latent Forms returns with its third release, Shoot By Mistake EP, from producer Colog. The two-track release brings together two distinct sides of his sound, with both tracks drawing from a fascination with older electronic music while pushing those influences into something distinctly personal.

Shoot By Mistake opens the EP at 128 BPM, built around gritty textures, driving rhythms and a sense of tension that gradually unfolds through the track. Raison d'être follows at 67 BPM, moving into a much slower and more spacious territory. Where Shoot By Mistake channels its ideas through momentum and tension, Raison d'être takes a more reflective approach, allowing its textures and atmosphere to unfold at their own pace.
