Forgotten Futures was influenced by one of my favorite Phuturistic Bluez tracks, Regret by Miguel Q Regret. I first heard it on an old Knowledge Mag mix by Greg Packer and wanted to capture a similar vibe, especially the opening atmospherics. Originally released as Unseen Glimmers, I renamed it to better reflect the vocal sample, taken from the film Children of Men.
