Earlier this year Jay-Lee, a hip-hop producer out of Glasgow, put out a call for remixers for his debut album All or Nothing. After listening through the album, Stuck In Time was the track that caught my attention the most.

I decided to slow things down and rewrote the music around his vocals, shooting for a more classic hip hop vibe. Additionally, I leaned into the theme of time and loss by sampling La Jetée, a French film about time travel that 12 Monkeys is loosely based on.
